College (and Faculty) Support

The primary objective of the college support office is to provide daily operational, administrative, and organization support to Lundquist College of Business faculty and graduate students (GEs).

College and Faculty Support Services provides operational and administrative support to the college’s instructional and research faculty, department heads, and Graduate Employees (GEs and PhDs). The office supports the teaching and research mission of the college, providing assistance to approximately 120 faculty (tenured, tenure track, non-tenure track, and pro tems) and graduate employees (GEs and PhD students). The office also supports administrative efforts related to the PhD program and provides as needed assistance related to event coordination and travel processing (including arrangements and reimbursements via the University’s enterprise software, Concur) for the entire college.College support staff is available to answer questions and connect members of the Lundquist Community to resources (services and/or campus or community partners) needed to achieve their goals. If you do not know where to go, check with us first.  Examples: Driver certifications, printing and mailing services, IT assistance

Tina Starr, Senior Instructor of Management, is available as a resource to new faculty regarding information on teaching and programs and is leading New Faculty Orientation for the College and is the go-to person in the college to support new faculty success. The slides shared at New Faculty Orientation are a resource for all new and returning faculty.

  • Printing syllabi, exams, name tents  
  • Other printing & copying assistance  
  • Support for visitors and guests including  
    • Travel coordination   
    • Itinerary creation and dissemination for guest speakers and other visitors  
  • Faculty Search Administration  
    • Candidate screening, as needed, basic information only such as completeness of applications, PHD institution, and current role  
    • Creation of itineraries in collaboration with search chairs  
      • May include reserving rooms or making meal reservations  
    • Working with search chairs to coordinate schedules with faculty for virtual and in-person interviews  
    • Generation of virtual meeting links and dissemination of meeting details  
  • Concur assistance with travel requests & reimbursements  
    • The team will assist with all aspects of travel; however, travelers will be responsible for providing all required documentation including but not limited receipts, itineraries, and schedules.   
    • Note, for conference travel, a link to the conference website is required for requests.   
  • Travel & entertainment (T&E) reimbursements  
  • Exam proctoring & scantron processing  
    • Providing supplies such as scantrons, pencils, and carts for exams  
  • Supply ordering  
  • Textbook ordering & adoption  
  • Room reservations  
  • Mail assistance  
  • Virtual meeting assistance  
  • Certificate printing & framing  
  • Branding supplies & templates  
    • Providing links and templates for approved College branded PowerPoint presentations, letterhead, and other collateral found on Lundquist’s Strategic Communications webpage
